Get involved. Get cooking.
Get shaking. Get started.

Leaders aren’t born – they’re made – carved out of dedication, immense effort, passion and the desire to be the very best for themselves, their team and their hotel.

And, leaders don’t create followers – they create more leaders. Are you prepared to showcase your talent? Show the world what you are capable of and become a leader for tomorrow? Well, now is your chance.

Flavour & Flair is designed to bring together and showcase the amazing talent that Hilton has across EMEA. Team members compete against each other across three disciplines, with the finalists from each region (UK&I, Continental Europe, AP&T, A&IO, KSA-Egypt-North Africa & Levant) going head to head.

Enter one of the three categories...

Mixology.  Pastry.  Culinary.

...and design your own 'Hilton First' inspired by the classics, using new and original ingredients to create an entirely new experience.

The Pina Colada.

The ultimate tropical drink, the Piña Colada was invented by Ramón Marrero, bartender at the Caribe Hilton San Juan in the 1950s. Marrero mixed rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice to create the cocktail that has come to symbolise the beachside vacation.

Red Velvet Cake.

The eye-catching layered chocolate-and-cream dresser has been beloved since the 1930s. That’s when, as legend has it, the cake emerged from the kitchens at the New York Waldorf Astoria.

The Waldorf Salad.

This refreshing salad of apples, celery, grapes and walnuts in a mayonnaise dressing has its own original story, one that dates back to the 19th century. The Waldorf’s original Maître d’hôtel, Oscar Tschirky (famously known as “Oscar of the Waldorf”), created it for a charity ball that was hotel’s debut event.
